Laurie Thal's vases and bowls emerge from classic beginnings to beome elgant whisps of the imagination. Her use of color, progressing from deep hues to subtle translucense, suggest a transformation of spirit. The arching line and delicate balance of her shapes is reminiscent of the spiring Grand Tetons which are her backyard.
